A modular "village brain" anchored at community hubs — schools, clinics, cooperatives — running 24/7 on solar power with or without internet.

Right now, farmers and communities fight fires with whatever's on hand. The Hub's sensor network and SMS alerts buy them the one thing they don't have: time.

Solar-Powered IoT Sensors

Rugged, low-cost sensors monitor borehole levels, water quality, soil moisture, crop cameras, clinic fridge temps, and energy loads — all powered by solar microgrids.

Offline-First Edge AI

A local "village brain" runs on Raspberry Pi-class hardware with LoRaWAN/satellite backup. It predicts drought, floods, pest outbreaks, and energy shortfalls without needing the cloud.

Indigenous + Scientific Knowledge

Built on ITIKI-style hybrid AI that combines traditional ecological knowledge with satellite data for culturally trusted, locally accurate alerts in isiZulu, Sesotho, and other languages.

SMS / USSD / Voice Alerts

No smartphone needed. Farmers receive crop warnings, clinic staff get power alerts, and community leaders see dashboards — all via basic phone or a hub kiosk.

Community-Owned Data Cooperative

Data belongs to the village. Youth "tech champions" are trained for maintenance jobs. Anonymized insights create revenue for the community via agri-insurers and government agencies.
